Hempstead Park's main mission is to provide a complete and varied program of

 Our 251 bed facility is licensed and operated in compliance with New York State
Department of Health and operates in compliance with New York State and Federal
laws.
A staff of highly trained dedicated professionals who respond with love,
understanding and sensitivity towards the needs of each individual. The staff at
Hempstead Park are people who "care" for people.
 Our excellent Social Service staff strives to foster a feeling of dignity and
self-respect among our residents. They respond to the psychosocial and emotional
needs of each resident and family.
Cheerful lounges/reception rooms equipped with color TV, movies and music are on
every floor.
Activities programming offering a stimulating schedule of day and evening social
activities and recreational programs. Live entertainment, arts and crafts,
discussion groups and other therapeutic social programs are offered.
